Move Lowell Forward’s Purpose and Mission
Move Lowell Forward PAC is a non-partisan citizen's group of Lowell residents who support professional and equitable city management. We aim to provide information and awareness to increase voter turnout, and to endorse candidates for local office through a process of evaluation on relevant issues.
We support:
- Professionalism in city government;
- Economic growth for local jobs and stabilizing the tax rate
- A strong educational system
- Safe and clean neighborhoods
- A better quality of life and effective public services
- Respect for, and adherence to, our Plan E city charter.

MLF Releases Set of Considerations for City Manager Contract
Move Lowell Forward PAC has released a document entitled Considerations for a City Manager Contract for the City Of Lowell, MA (download PDF here). The document is a set of ideas based around the PAC's stated mission, on ways a City Manager contact might incorporate goals and measurements in the evaluations that could help determine a performance-based contract with the City Manager.
