Move Lowell Forward is holding an open meeting on June 14th, 7pm at the Pollard Memorial Library in the downstairs meeting room.
At the meeting we will talk a little about what we're doing and what we're about, as well as getting ideas and feedback from participants.

MLF Releases Set of Considerations for City Manager Contract
Move Lowell Forward PAC has released a document entitled Considerations for a City Manager Contract for the City Of Lowell, MA (download PDF here). The document is a set of ideas based around the PAC's stated mission, on ways a City Manager contact might incorporate goals and measurements in the evaluations that could help determine a performance-based contract with the City Manager.

The Lowell Sun outlines Move Lowell Forward's efforts to expand transparency to the Greater Lowell Technical School.
"Move Lowell Forward, a group known to push for more accountability and transparency in government, wants the School Committee to post on the vocational school's Web site its yearly meeting schedule, meeting agendas, subcommittee information and all documents School Committee members receive prior to meetings -- excluding anything exempt by the public-record laws."
